Step 1: Download the brushes you want from noupe.com. http://www.noupe.com/how-tos/80-all-you-need-photoshop-brushes.html
Step 2: Drop them into your Photoshop/preset/brushes folder by following this path to get to the brushes folder:
Step 3: Add them to your brushes palette. Here’s how: http://myphotoshopbrushes.com/install_brushes These instructions are from myphotoshopbrushes.com which has a ton other stuff too - free layer styles, brushes, shapes.
Good find – Smashing Magazine has a slew of “best of” tutorials for both illustrator and photoshop. I haven’t tried them yet and they are not all written by the magazine, but I trust their judgment.

Friend Mark who clued me in to the drop.io site has a great informational blog you’ll want to check out. He has lots of very understandable stuff that takes you past the newbie phase of your web presence and use without losing you. He tries a variety of web 2.0 stuff and gives you an unbiased headsup. And he’s a really nice guy so ask him all the question you want….right Mark?
